What’s the XAPK File?

XAPK – It’s the file that contains the “APK” and “OBB/DATA” in one file, it’s called “XAPK”
So, if you download the game with the XAPK file, maybe the size is bigger than usual, why? because the file contains both of APK and OBB/DATA file.

Sometimes if you’ve downloaded a game with a rather large size in Apkpure, you will find games with xapk file extensions.

But to install this file, the android devices can’t open the xapk file like usual method, you can open or install this file with this way, I’ll show you…

• You can use the XAPK installer application, this is so easy method, get the XAPK Installer HERE and install it.
• Open the XAPK installer and you will see your XAPK file, select and hit install

 

2. Installing XAPK Using File Manager

• Go to your XAPK file on File Manager
• Rename and add “.zip” at the end of the filename

• The XAPK file will transform to the “ZIP” file, so you can open this with the default file manager, or with the applications like “RAR” or “Zip Archiver”

 

• Open the Zip file

• Extract all of the files

• Go back to the File Manager and install the APK as usually

• Copy or Move the data file according to instruction

• Move to   Android / obb / Here…

 

 

IF IN THE XAPK FILES NO “OBB” FOLDER BUT “DATA”, MOVE TO ANDROID / DATA / HERE… IF THERE ARE BOTH, MOVE THE FOLDER IN OBB FOLDER TO “ANDROID / OBB / HERE..” AND MOVE THE FOLDER IN DATA FOLDER TO ”ANDROID / DATA / HERE…”
